This past Tuesday I posted William Bendix's first television appearance as Chester A. Riley, the title character from The Life of Riley. Today, I thought it would be interesting to post Bendix's first spin as Riley on the radio. Paula Winslowe plays both Riley's wife and mother-in-law; John Brown played both Riley's buddy Jim Gillis and Digby "Digger" O'Dell, the friendly undertaker.
