To cop the Nobel Peacenik Prize.

ReplyDeleteNo. He was nominated by Represntative Claudia Tenney (R-NY). She currently represents the 24th District. She previously represented the 22nd District, a seat she won in 2021 in a contested election, eventually winning by 109 votes and asumed office nearly a month after her fellow colleagues were sworn in. She got a boost from Trump in that election as he took the district by 54.7% of the vote. Redistricting maps then split NY-22 into several districts and she announced that she would run in the 23rd District for 2023, even thpough she did not live in that district. When that initial redistrictring was challeged in court and the maps were then redrawn by a special master, she announced she would then run in the 24th Distict (where, again, she did not live); she easily won this election in the heavily Republican disctirct with 64% of the vote. Shortly after the Soneman Douglas High School mass shooting in 2018, she stated, "so many of these people that commit mass murders end up being Democrats." She was one of the signers of a 2018 letter calling for criminal investigations into James Comey, Hilary Clinton, Loretta Lynch, Sally Yates, Andrew McCabe, Dana Boente, Peter Strzok, and Lisa Page. Sha has also cast doubt on the scientifc concensus on climate changeand on the legitimacy of the 2020 election. She voterd to make genger affirming care for trangender minors a Class C feliony. She was pone of anumber of Repuvblicans who spread the false rumor that the person who attacked Paul Pelosi with a hammer was a gay prostitue, posting a doctored phptographer of ypupng men holding hammers next to a gat pride flag, adding the note "LOL." That's the tip of the Tenney iceberg. She is a real piece of work and The Donald loves her.
