LET'S MAKE A SANDWICH

From 1950, Sally and her mother make a tune rarebit for their two hungry guests.  It's a snap with the modern convenience of their gas stove!  The end result looks like the "stuff on a shingle" my father-in-law refused eat after he served in the Navy.  I pity the poor boys who have to eat that stuff.

Since this short educational film was brought to you by your local gas company, it should not come as a surprise that Sally's last name is Gasco.

Yep, it looks like a woman's place is in the kitchen.

Times were simpler then.  Not better, just simpler.
