MUSIC FROM THE PAST: IT ISN'T NICE

Jackie Washington covers Malvina Reynold's song in this cut from his album Jackie Washington at Club 47.  Back in the day, Kitty and I caught his act at Club 47 several times.  During one show, Kitty and I were in the front row (inches away from the stage; Club 47 was an intimate venue) when Washington stopped a song in the middle, pointed to us, and said, "Ahh, look, they're holding hands!"  Kitty immediately blushed and pulled her hand from mine and Washington said, "Don't do that, honey.  He's bigger than me!"  (I was.)  He always put on a good show.
