- Basil Copper - The Long Rest. Another Mike Faraday mystery. This makes my Mike Faraday read/about-to-be-read number at fifteen. I have a ways to go -- Copper wrote fifty-one of them.
- Richie Tankersley Cusick - Vampire. YA horror.
- Chrstine Feehan & Marjori M. Lui - Dark Dreamers. Paranormal romance omnibus with Feehan's Dark Dream and Lui's A Dream of Stone and Shadow.
- Bentley Little, The Disappearance, Horror.
- John Ringo, Unto the Breach. Military SF.
- Margaret Weiss & Tracy Hickman, editors, Kender, Gully Dwarves, and Gnomes. Gaming tie-in anthology, Volume II of DragonLance: Tales. Nine stories.

How do you find the Coppers? Compelling or simply good enough to stick with?
ReplyDeleteAre the Weis and Hickman anthologies better than their novels?
The Coppers are all ex-library purchased on-line, Todd. All fifty-one of the Mike Faraday books were reprinted in large-print editions for the library market. The ones I bought went for a penny apiece plus shipping, so how could I resist? They certainly are not compelling books in any sense, but they are just plain fun. The Weis/Hickman anthologies I haven't read yet so I'm reserving judgment.
