THE LONE RANGER: THE WHITE LEADER (JANUARY 8, 1954)

For come reason, Lyle Lovett's "If I Had a Boat" took up space in my mind as an earworm and I needed a Lone Ranger fix.  This was it.

Brace Beemer, the third radio voice of The Lone Ranger, took on the role on April 8, 1941 and brought truth, justice, and the American way to the Old West for thirteen years, until the end of the radio program on September 3, 1954.  Although he did many personal appearances, Beemer was far more comfortable as a radio actor than in front of a camera, and Clayton Moore became the character for television.

Enjoy this bit of nostalgia.
