WHITEHALL 1212: MURDER IN THE BLACK MARKET (JANUARY 8, 1952)

Taken from the files of Scotland Yard's Black Museum, Whitehall 1212 aired in the US from November 18, 1951 to September 28, 1952 on NBC Radio.  It was hosted by Chief Superintendent John Davidson, the curator of the Black Museum.  Unlike the similar radio show The Black Museum that ran around the same period, Whitehall 1212 was focus on the plice point of view from the beginning of the crime scene, rather than acting out scenes from the actual murders.

"Murder in the Black Market" recounts the story of the murder of jewel fence Rubin Martirosoff by two Polish soldiers in 1946.  This episode originally aired on January 8. 1952  as the eighth episode of the series.

Whitehall 1212 is the well-known telephone number of Scotland Yard.

Enjoy.
