Dane Clark is Peter Chambers in this short-lived -- April 6 to September 7, 1954 -- NBC Radio series. Chambers, a tough New York PI, was the creation of Henry Kane and appeared in 35 books from 1947 to 1972. Kane wrote the scripts for the radio show, which was directed by Fred Weihe.
Angela Wentworth's Uncle is dead, supposedly a suicide, with two bullet holes in his stomach and a $20,000 emerald earring in his pockets. But would Robert Wentworth kill himself before he changed his will as he had intended? On the scene is Pete Chambers who finds himself on the search for the mate to the earrring. Bill Zuckert plays Lt. Louis Parker, Chambers' police buddy.
