Broadway Is My Beat aired on CBS Radio from 1949 to 1954 and was originally aired from New York with Anthony Ross playing police detective Danny Clover. When the half-hour show moved its production to Hollywood in July 1949, Ross was replaced by Larry Thor as Clover.
"The Steve Courtney Murder Case" aired on June 23, 1950. The episode was produced and directed by Elliott Lewis from a script by Morton S. Fine and David Friedkin.
