From The Porter Wagoner Show, Dolly Parton nails it. To my mind, Dolly's original take is light years beyond whitney Houston's cover. What do you think?
I tend to prefer the composer's version of many if not most songs, and it's never been my favorite of Houston's recordings. (I prefer the latter's jazz pop, and then her more up-tempo r&b/pop.)
