MR. KEEN, TRACER OF LOST PERSONS: THE POISON SANDWICH MURDER CASE

Based on Tracer of Lost Persons, a 1906 novel by Robert W. Chambers, Mr. Keen, tracer of Lost Persons was one of the longest lasting radio detective series, running from October 12, 1937 to April 19, 1955 -- a total of 1690 national broadcasts.  In "The Poisoned Sandwich Murder Case" (August 17, 1951), Keen is portrayed by Philip Clarke, the third (and final) actor to take the role, following Bennett Kilpack and Arthur Hughes.  Private detective Keen received a telephone call from law student asking for his protection, but the student dies while on the phone.

Enjoy.
