OLD-TIME RADIO: THE MURDER OF ROGER ACKROYD

What was arguably Agatha Christie's most famous novel was brought to life in this unique take from Orson Welles.  This show aired on November 12, 1939 on CBS's The Campbell Playhouse, which Welles produced.  Welles, of course, plays the detective with the mustaches.  The rest of the cast includes guest star Edna Mae Oliver, as well as Alan Napier, Brenda Forbes, Mary Taylor, George Coulouris, Ray Collins, and Everett Sloan.

It's time to match wits with Poirot.

Enjoy.
