Did you give the Coen Bros. folkie movie a try? Looks offputting as a film, even as some of the performers in the accompanying concert video on HBO were in their self-regard...others made up for them.
I recall my folks listening to his music. They knew somebody who knew him. This was maybe 1969. He had a yacht or something and was fixin' to sail around the world. "Baby, the Rain Must Fall"
