TWO (NOT VERY) OVERLOOKED FILMS FOR HALLOWEEN

'Tis the season.  Here are two of  the creepiest films ever made.  No explanations necessary.

First, from 1922, Nosferatu:

And, from 1920, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari:

  1. OK...I'll bite, if not quite as hard as Nossy does...which is the third?

  2. Oops...fumble-fingers! It should be "the" instread of "thee" (or "three").

Thinking about it, a case could be made for the original DRACULA. The scene in which Lugosi glides through the castle cellar is creepy: the silence itself becomes a character in the movie. And Dwight Frye is eerily mad.

  3. And I corrected the typo. I think I'll blame it one the stupid computer, rather than the stupid human.

  4. They sure are. Silence does it better.
