OVERLOOKED FILMS: THE GOLEM

The golem is a creature made from clay and brought to life to protect the Jews of Prague.  The golem is related to the monster from Frankenstein and the robots from R.U.R.

  1. Or, at least, the golem inspired RUR and FRANKENSTEIN, perhaps at very least, to some extent (dunno...had Mary W. Shelley heard much of the golem myth?). Of course, Avram Davidson's early story brings it all back home...
