He was suspended for that little joke. But he also had a serious and artistic side. He often had jazz groups on the show for a few minutes, including the only film we have of the great Clifford Brown.Walker Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16089880902426182100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2728909293998777391.post-86783696997977615462013-04-02T15:51:08.195-07:002013-04-02T15:51:08.195-07:00Truth to tell, George, Sales was light-years beyon...Truth to tell, George, Sales was light-years beyond Pinky Lee, but Lee was one those who led the way and was one of the major inspirations for PEE-WEE'S PLAYHOUSE.Jerry Househttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09482856733981933159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2728909293998777391.post-13850906775990016332013-04-02T11:12:12.357-07:002013-04-02T11:12:12.357-07:00I vaguely remember Pinky Lee, but I sure do rememb...I vaguely remember Pinky Lee, but I sure do remember Soupy Sales.
